Show the invoices billed to each change order (like contracts do)
Description:
On a contract, you can see the list of invoices billed against it. Change orders don’t have that. When a CO’s billed total doesn’t look right, there’s no way to see which invoices make it up. The only option today is to open every invoice on the contract, one by one, and check which SOV lines each one was assigned to.
This comes up most when a single CO is overbilled while the contract as a whole still has room to bill. Tracking down the invoices behind that overage is slow, and it’s easy to miss one.
What would help:
An invoice list on each change order, matching the one on contracts, showing every invoice billed against that CO and the amount applied, or
A clickable billed amount on each CO line in the contract’s Schedule of Values that opens the invoices behind it.
Example: A contract has two change orders that are over-invoiced, even though the contract itself still has remaining budget. To find which invoices caused the overage, every invoice on the contract had to be reviewed individually.
