The File Cabinet has been upgraded to support real-time collaboration directly within the file previewer!

When opening any document — whether it's a PDF plan or a spec sheet — users will now see a collapsible Discussion Sidebar to the right of the file.

This sidebar functions as a dedicated communication thread for that specific document.
You can mention team members, ask for clarifications, and reply to comments without leaving the viewer.

Crucially, this integrates with the main dashboard: any comment made inside a file automatically generates a post on the main Activity Feed. Clicking that feed post acts as a link, immediately reopening the file modal so that you and your users can see the file that is being discussed.
