You now have more granular control during project creation. A Project Start Date field has been added to the "Create New Project" modal.

• What it is: A simple date selector that appears after you choose a project template.
  

• Why it's important: It directly influences the start and end dates of all tasks within your chosen template, providing a true-to-plan schedule from the moment you click "Create."
  

• How it works: Simply pick a date from the calendar. This saves a trip to the settings and improves the accuracy of initial project planning, especially for projects that don't kick off immediately.

Now you can set up a project slated to begin next week, next month, or next year, and trust that all automated scheduling will be accurate from day one. If no date is selected, the start date will simply default to the current day.
